Model No. CNS 21-300 Package Docket No. 71-9096 Encl to ltr dtd: MAR 25 Mi DRAWING Provide an engineering drawing of the liner (s) to be used with the load distribution pallet as shown in Chem-Nuclear Systems, Inc. Drawing No.

1-298-101A, Rev. B.

STRUCTURAL Provide an evaluation of the liner strength to assure that the liner will not collapse before the loads are transferred to the load distribution pallet.

Alternately, demonstrate the package lid will remain sealed following a one-foot top corner drop assuming a uniform load onto the package lid. (The possibility of a secondary impact on the lid should also be considered.) If the package lid analysis is provided, then the engineering drawing of the liner (s) would not be required.
