Nuclear Production Department ' 422 South Church Street Charlotte, NC 28242 Gentlemen: SUBJECT: NRC AUGMENTED INSPECTION TEAM REPORT NOS. 50-413/86-25 AND 50-414/86-27 DATED JULY 25, 1986 On July 25, 1986, NRC transmitted the subject report of NRC inspection conducted at your Catawba facility. The inspection report contained photographs (Figures 2 through 6) which were not clear. Additionally, the report incorrectly identified an inspector followup item for item d. of paragraph 11 on page 27. The inspector followup item should have been identified for item f. of paragraph 11 on page 28. Please replace pages 27 and 28 and Figures 2 through 6 of the subject report with the enclosed pages. In accordance with Section 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter and its enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
