This refers to the routine safety inspections conducted by Mr. Joseph A. Golla,

and Mr. Anthony A. Varela of this office on February 9-14, 1987 at Beaver
Valley Power Station, Unit #2, of activities authorized by NRC License
No. CPPR-105 and to the discussions of our findings held by Mr. Golla with
J. Patterson and Mr. Varela with N. Daugnerty at the conclusion of the
inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I
Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the
inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative
records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
