Dear Mr. Andrews:

EJordan Gray File +4 The Commission has issued the enclosed Amendment No. 96 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-40 for the Fort Calhoun Station, Unit No. 1. This amendment consists of changes to the Technical Specifications in response to your application dated October 31, 1985.

The amendment updates the snubber table listings to reflect the removal and and addition of snubbers. The amendment also changes the surveillance requirements for the nuclear detector well cooling annulus exit air temperature detectors to make them consistent with the associated limited condition for operation.

A copy of the Safety Evaluation is also enclosed. The notice of issuance will be included in the Commission's next regular bi-weekly Federal Register notice.
