SUMMARY

OF PLANT OPERATIONS The plant has been in cold shutdown for the entire month of August 1%6. The initial shutdown was due to the December 26,1%6 loss of ICS power event.

PERSONNEL CHANGES REQUIRING REPORT There were no changes in personnel which require reporting pursuant to Technical Specification Figure 6.2-2.

- There were no documentation packages completed for facility changes, procedures. tests, or experimentsduring August 1%6.

MAIOR ITEMS OF S AFETY RELATED MAINTEN ANCE

1. PASS modifications continued through August 1%5.
2. Continued Class 1 snubbers seal replacement effort.

3 Continued Non-Nuclear Instrumentation System "Y" cabinet rework.

4. DieselGenerator"A" bi-annual surveillance continued. Completed the four year inspection of Diesel Generator "A" using procedures EM.168 and M1.3327.

This included lug inspection and corresponding circuit function testing of paneth 2 DEA.

5 OTSG "B" sleeving / tube end rolling operations continued.

6. Received reworked Makeup Pump rotating sssembly.
7. Continued work on condensate pump "B."
8. Continued Control Room / Technical Support Center Essential HVAC testing and investigations.
9. Continued 10-year ISI efforts.
10. Electricallug termination rework continued through August 1%6.

I1. Cleaned both air intake screens on Nuclear Service Cooling Water Pump "A" Motor and painted them with Glyptol.

12. The spray ponds were super-chlorinated and other maintenance actions were taken as part of an effort to maintain control of the algae growth.
