Gentlemen:
Subject: Enforcement Conference
This will confirm Mr. Chaffee's telephone conversation with Mr. J. D. Martin
on August 19, 1986, concerning an enforcement conference to be held between
NRC and the Washington Public Power Supply System in the Region V office at
9:00 a.m. on August 28,.1986.
Matters to be discussed. include the yg rent
violations identified during the equipment qualification team inspectw a and
the recent Region V team inspection, and the control of combustible materials
as discussed in Inspection Report 86-22.
In addition, at your request, a meeting to discuss the results of the SALP
evaluation will be held at 1:00 p.m. on August .18, also in the Region V
office.
In accordance with NRC Manual Chapter 0516, this meeting will be
conducted as-a public meeting, except for discussion of matters exempt from
public disclosure pursuant to 10 CFR 2.790.
Anticipated attendees at the above meetings are shown on the enclosed meeting
notices.
