This refers to the routine resident safety inspection by Messrs. W. Troskoski and
L. Prividy on March 1 - 31, 1986, at the Beaver Valley Power Station, Unit 2,
Shippingport, Pennsylvania. The inspection consisted of document reviews, inter-
views and observation of construction and preoperational test activities. The
findings were discussed with Mr. R. Swiderski of your staff.
We also acknowledge your responses dated January 16' and February 13, 1986 to the
noncompliance and deviation identified in Inspection Report 85-25 concerning in-
correct terminal blocks for feedwater isolation valve actuators and noncompliance
with Regulatory Guide 1.29 for monorail systems. We will perform inspections of
your corrective actions in future inspections.
