This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by Mr. W. Lazarus and
others of this office on March 11-13, 1986, at the Indian Point 3 Nuclear Power
Plant, Buchanan, New Yo-k, of activities authorized by NRC License No. DPR-64
and to :.he discussions of our findings held by Mr. Lazarus with you and other
members of-your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
The areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I
Inspection Report (enclosed). Within these areas, the inspection consisted of-
. selective examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews
with personnel, and observation of the emergency exercise by team members.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
