Box 1551 Raleigh, North Carolina 27602 Gentlemen: l l In accordance with your application dated March 17, 1986, and pursuant to Title 10 Code of Federal Regulations, Part 70, Materials License No. SNM-1939 is amended to revise Condition 11 and add Condition 14c as follows:
Condition 11. Procedures, and changes thereto, for control and handling of nuclear fuel shall include a review by the Manager, Technical Support and the approval of the Operations Manager, l Condition 14c. The currently licensed Reactor Operator or Senior Reactor Operator is qualified and may be responsible for criticality safety for fuel assembly handling.
All other conditions of your license shall remain the same.
Enclosed is a copy of our Safety Evaluation Report in support of this amendment.
