APPLICATION FOR AMENDMENT TO OPERATING LICENSE Pursuant to Section 50.90 of the regulations of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, the New York Power Authority, as holder of Facility Operating License No. DPR-59, hereby applies for an Amendment to the Technical Specifications contained in Appendix A of this license.
The proposed changes allow the use of Senior Reactor Operators (SROs) who have completed an Advanced Technical Training Program to serve in a dual role as both SRO and Shift Technical Advisor (STA), and include editorial changes.
The proposed changes are limited to Sections 6.2, 6.3, 6.4, 6.5, Figure 6.2-1, and the Table of Contents.
The proposed change's to the Technical Spe'cifications are Attachment I to this application.
The Safety Evaluation for the change is included as Attachment II.
