REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION With regard to the VII,b.2 Results Report, the ERC reinspection has identified two valves XSF-179 (Fuel Pool Cooling and Cleanup System Isometric SF-X-FB-0038) and 1-7046 (Chemical and Volume Control System Isometric CS-1-AB-028) for which the ASME records necessary to certify the valve bonnet have not been located.

As was stated in our previous May 15, 1985, request for additional information, if the valves at issue cannot be certified as ASME Code Valves in response to licensing canmitments, then appropriate action must be taken to establish ASME Code conformance or, alternatively, modified licensing commitments must be submitted to the staff with supporting justification.

Please also provide the impact this information has on the conclusion reached in your VII.b.2 Results Report.
