Dear Mr. Sumner:
By letter dated August 8,19'47, you submitted a request for license amendments that would allow Hatch Units 1 and 2 to sperate at an uprated power level of 2763 megawatt thermal (MWt), which is an increase of 8 percent above the currently licensed power level of 2558 MWt.

Please advise us of your schedule for response.
The enclosure is being handled as proprietary because the requested information relates to of your August 8,1997, submittal, which contains General Electric Topical Report NEDC-32749P. In our letter of September 2,1997, we agreed to handle NEDC 32749P as proprietary and we requested that a nonproprietary version be submitted within 30 days. By letter of O::tober 1,1997, you submitted the nonproprietary version, which was a one-page summary of NEDC-32749P. We understand that you will be submitting a revised nonproprietary version of NEDC 32749P. After receipt of the revised nonproprietary version of NEDC-32749P, we will reisssue those questions in the enclosed RAI that refer to portions of
