Docket Nos. 50-413 and 50-414 Tecluti* cal Specification Amendment for Dissel Generators
'.s'
Dear )fr. Dsnton:
This letter is to' clarify some of clie Techtilcal Specification changes requested in my. letter of March 24, 1986.
c..
.The March 24,1986* request inadvertently omitted the appropriate Action ' stat ' ment..
- for..the' condition where only one diesel is inoperable. This clarification adds the
. neces'sary requirement on page. 3/4 841. Also, tiie words "(if applicable)" are tb be added to clarify that Action b. may not be applicable if both offs'ite circuits are operable while one diesel is inoperable.
~
_ On page 3/4 8-2, Action statement d., the words " separately for each diesel' generator" are to be added to clarify the intent of the required action when both offsite A'C.' circuits are ingperable.
~
The final change is on page 3/4 8-7,, Stirveillance 4.8.1.1.3 which retains the la' t s
sent9nce in the Surve,illance.
- The previous submittal had 's equested that this1 sentence be deleted as was done in the North Anna Specifications. Basedujon' conversations with your staff, this sentence is to remain.
o

~
Ps s ant to 10 CFR 50.91 (b) (1) the appropriate South Carolina State Official is being provided a copy of this. clarification to our amendment requeet.-
