. Dear Mr. Cowan On January 17,1999, Region ll will implement a staff reorganization as part of an agency-wide ,
streamlining effort. The reorganization is necessary because of staffing reductions in our Fiscal Year 1999 budget. The reductions will result in the elimination of the Special inspection Branch in the Division of Reactor Safety (DRS) and realignment of those functions and staff in the remaining DRS branches.
