Table of Contents - changed " Bell System" to " Telephone System" This will allow for company name changes without haviag to revise the emergency plan. Changed " microwave system" to
" transmission (voice)", the specific section deals with both microwave and fiber optic links.

Section 5.1.2 On-Shift Emergency Organization #4 and #5. Added wording to #4 to allow the capability to use selected maintenance personnel at Thil for making off-site notifications.
Clarification was added to #5 by adding the word " Selected" before maintenance personnel at Thil.
This change was made to insure consistency with Table 14, which specifies only selected maintenance personnel are trained and qualified to be ECC communicators.

Section 5.1.3 Initial Response Emergency Organization - with activation of the ESD function at the EOF, the ESD would a:sume decision authority for certain items. Flexibility has been added into the ESD's authority for taking over off '.ite notifications. Wording was added to make this optional based upon discussions with the ED.

Section 7.4. l.3 Bell System - Same comment as # 1 above. Revised section to provide clarification.

Section 7.4.1.4 hiicrowave system - Same comment as #1 above. Clarification added which identifies backup power.

Section 7.4.1.17 Telephone System Emergency Power Supp!ies - # 1 expanded on back-up power supply. #2 Changed "AT&T / NJ Bell" to " Commercial Phone System" This will allow for company name changes.

Section 7.5.1.1 b #4 - Deleted reference to the isolation Condenser Vents and Containment Spray 11 eat Exchanger Service Water Efiluent hionitoring Subsystem. System was removed. (See SE-000661-017) 8.
Section 8.2.1 #4 Training - editorial change to second sentence (Run together sentence).
This change corrects an error that was aade in an earlier revision. The error resulted in improper division of the 2nd and 3rd sentences of this item. The wording will now match NUR EG 0654 Planning Standard O, footnote 1.
