This refers to the routine safety inspection in the area of nonradiological
chemistry conducted by Mr. H. Zibulsky of this office on April 21-25, 1986 at
the Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant, Units 1 and 2, Lusby, Maryland of
activities authorized by NRC License Nos. DPR-53 and DPR-69 and to the discus-
sions of our findings held by Mr. Zibulsky with Mr. J. Lemons and other members
of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I
Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the
inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative
records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
No reply to this letter is required. Your cooperation with us in this matter
is appreciated.
