Holtec Topical Report
- Requesting approval for a heat load patterns methodology in the TR for Allowance of Heat Load Patterns in HI-STORM 100 and HI-STORM FW Systems.
- Holtec intends to use the approved TR in future licensing actions (e.g. Certificates of Compliance amendments).

Overview
- One year review schedule
- NRC accepts or rejects the TR - no opportunity to supplement
- NRC completes Draft Safety Evaluation (SE) and provides to the Applicant o Documents Open Items (i.e., areas NRC is unable to make conclusion or find acceptable) o No Requests for Additional Information (RAIs) o Applicant provides responses to Open Items
- If the Applicants responses are acceptable - NRC completes Final SE
- If Applicants responses are not acceptable o Open Items requiring minimal information to address; RAIs or conference call and documentation 4
