During the period from February 7,1986, to March 7,1986, members of the NRC
Region I Staff conducted routine safety inspections of operational activities
at your facility. The results of these inspections are documented in the en-
closed report. At the conclusion of the inspection, Mr. R. Conte of my staff
summarized the inspection findings for you ar.d other members of your staff.
This letter also acknowledges receipt of your letter, dated January 31, 1986,
concerning the event in which records were discarded for the Power Operated
Relief Valve (PORV) surveillance test data.
Your response addressed our con-

cerns about that incident. We will review your pending corrective action in
a future inspection.
No violations of regulatory requirements or conditions adverse to nuclear
safety were identified. No response to this letter is required.
