Clinton Power Station Emergency Response Facilities Design Report
Dear Mr. Butler:
Illinois Power (IP) Letter U-0643, dated June 16, 1983, provided the NRC Staff with-the Emergency Response Facilities (ERFs) Design Report. Recent changes to the ERFs have been made that require revisions to this report. The purpose of this letter is to provide the Staff with the revised ERFs design report (included herein as an enclosure).
In summary, the following major changes have been addressed and are incorporated in this report:
1.
Changes in the communications equipment for the ERFs; 2.
Expanded list of station documents to be maintained in the Technical Support Center (TSC), Emergency Operations Facility (EOF) and the Backup EOF (BEOF);
3.
Revised location for the Operations Support Center (OSC);
4.
Added discussion and revised purpose and function of various rooms in the EOF; 5.
Revised design and location of the EOF radiation monitoring equipment; and 6.
Added a figure showing the relative location of the EOF to the power plant.(TSC and OSC location).
