Subject: NRC Examinations at San Onofre Units 2 and 3
On July 30 through August 14, 1985, the NRC administered examinations to
-
employees of your company for licenses to operate your San Onof re Nuclear
Generating Units 2 and 3.
As a result of these examinations, six candidates for Senior Reactor Operator
}
and eight candidates for Reactor Operators..were found to meet the minimum
qualifications for licensing and certification.

At the conclusion of the examinations on August 14, 1985, the examination
process and preliminary findings were discussed with members of your staff as
detailed in the enclosed report.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790(a), a copy of this letter and enclosures (1)
and (2) will be placed.in the NRC's Public Document Room. Enclosure (3) is
personal Privacy Information and will be withheld from public disclosure in
accordance with 10 CFR 9.5(a)(6).
