We have received copies of the following applications which were filed with the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (0NRR) for review in connection with the Edwin I. Hatch Nuclear Power Unit Nos.1 and 2:

A November 19, 1984 application which superseded all previous submittals for Technical Specification. changes relating to snubbers. Although this application states that the fees pursuant to Part 170 were submitted with your April 14, 1981 application, Check No. 968224 was received for $150.
2.
An August 22, 1985 application regarding core spray sparger cracking. The required application fee of $150 was not remitted with this application.
Based on information provided by the ONRR staff, it has been determined
- that:

A refund of $150 is due your Company for the November 19 application since the November 19 application is considered as containing information which is supplemental to your April 14, 1981 application, as superseded, for which a Class III fee ($4,000) and a Class-I fee ($400) were remitted. Your Company was notified of the ONRR staff's approval of your application with the issuance of Amendment Nos. 112 and 51 on August 5, 1985.

An application fee of $150 is due for your August 22 application pursuant to the June 20, 1984 revision to 10 CFR 170.
On the one hand, a $150 refund is due your Company and, on the other hand, $150 is due the NRC. Rather than refund the $150 to your Company, for Item 1 above, we are' applying it to the $150 due for Item 2 above.
We hope this transaction meets with your approval.
