C0 ORDINATION OF 01 STAFFING PLAN AND SECY-83-453 Peference: 01 1985 Staffing Plan Memorandum from Chilk to Hayes dated 11/23/83 Undated copy of Notation Paper Telecon between Kim Lancaster and Polly Schofield The 01 1985 staffing plan indicates that the position (now vacant) of Director of Division of Field Operations will be abolished. During the referenced telecon, Kim Lancaster advised that this would have to be done in accordance with Manual Chapter 0101.
In view of the approved Commission Notation paper, I believe that the requirements of MC 0101-031a, b, and -032 have been met regarding establishing a straight-line organization and abolishing this position.
01 does not yet have an approved Manual Chapter or Organizational Chart, however, the drafts speak to the referenced straight-line concept. The Operations Offices in Headquarters and the Director of the 01 Field Offices report to the Deputy Director of 01.
