Dear Sheriff Button:
Another year has come and gone and it's again time to ask you to repeat your willingness as Sheriff to assist in an emergency which would require the aid of law enforcement personnel. There were no emergencies last year, but the two demonstrations did require your response.
Part of our job is to see that dere will be no emergencies next year either, and we hope that the counter-culture people vill find another target too.
