g g,{ p?,(( il During the past year we at General Elecric - Morris Operation have been receiving and storing irradiated nuclear fuel. We are pleased to note that this has been done with-out incident both on the road and here at the site. '4hile we are working to maintain this safety record we also wish to continue a certain preparedness in the event of an accident.
It is instrumental in this effort that our Emergency Plan is kept up to date.
Toward this end we are including the 1976 revisions to the Plan. Most important, how-avar, is the villingness you expressed.some time ago to assist us if any emergency dsvelops which requires the aid of medical facilities.
' Jd you reaffirm this villingness to assist in an emergency in accordance with our prev 1ous discussions and arrangements by signing this letter and returning a copy to me.
Finally, I'd like to take this opportunity to invite you and/or a member (s) of your staff to visit our facility for a preparedness meeting on December 9 (7:00 to 9:00 PM).
Tha agenda planned will include the following:

Implementation of the Plan - everybody's part 3.
A practical emergency drill - is it possible?
