A telephone conversation was held on May 6, 1986 between you and Messrs.
E. C. Wenzinger, and R. R. Bellamy of this office to relay to you concerns regard-ing high radiation area key control at the Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Station.
The concerns, provided to us anonymously by a plant employee, involve two issues; forced entry into a locked high radiation area at Unit 2 on or about April 17, 1986, and the existence of unauthorized copies of keys to normally locked high radiation areas.
Preliminary review by our Senior Resident Inspector substanti-ated this latter issue.
Based on discussions during the referenced telephone conversation, we understand that a review of the two issues will be performed and a report describing your findings and planned corrective actions (as necessary) will be provideJ to this office by June 6, 1986.
For interim or long-term corrective actions, a schedule for completion should also be included.
