Inspection Report 50-271/88-02
A routine radiological safety inspection was conducted by fir. Robert M. Loesch
of this office on February 1-5, 1988, at Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station.

Findings were discussed with Mr. J. Pelletier of your staff at the conclusion of
the inspection.
The purpose of the inspection was to review the implementation of the
radiological controls program. The inspector also reviewed items of concern
which were identified in previcus inspections and specifically, follow-up
actionsrelatedtoyourinvestigationofanallegationreceivedAugust 10, 1987,
concerning contamination located outside of the Radiologically Controlled Area.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
