CONVERSATION CONCERNING PROTECTIVE ACTIONS FOR 8EACH POPULATION This is to confirm the conversation between the NRC staff and PSNH on January 28, 1988 regarding the concerns identified in the FEMA testimony dated January 25, 1988. We endorse your continued coordination with the State of New Hampshire reoarding this issue, who we understand, is giving consideration to providing a full discussion of the basis and rationale for the State's choice of protective l
actions for the beach population. We further understand that this discussion will include an explanation of the manner in which the results of the shelter survey study were used in arriving at the selected protective actions.
