Gentlemen:
Thank you for your letter dated April 29, 1988, in reply to our letter of
March 24, 1988. We have reviewed your response to the compensatory measures
issue cited in NRC Inspection Report 50-298/87-01 and concur in your plan to
resolve the issue.
During NRC Inspection 50-298/88-15 conducted on April 15-29, 1988, several
observations relative to implementation of your compensatory measures plan were
developed.
These observations, which will be addressed in the inspection
report, should be considered and/or addressed in your plan change which you
plan to submit under 10 CFR 50.54(p).
