Dear Mr. Williams:

We have received License Annex submittals for several operating systems at your plant. The following is a list of those submittals we have received, the dates of the documents, and their assigned TAC Numbers:

This acknowledgment letter also closes out TAC Number L31079, which is replaced by the submittal associated with TAC Number L31104.

We have completed the initial review of these License Annexes with no administrative omissions or deficiencies identified. Please note that the complete technical review of the License Annexes will be primarily associated with the high-risk systems (ADU Conversion, UN Bulk Storage System, URRS Dissolver, and Powder Blending). Accordingly, we will review the l

ADU Conversion and UN Bulk Storage System Annexes first, and the remainder of the high-risk systems when you submit them. We anticipate completing our review of the ADU Conversion and UN Bulk Storage System by May 30,1999. In addition, our reviews may identify omissions f,,

in the submittal information or technical issues that require additional information.

i When we have received the other two high-risk system License Annex submittals, we will provide you with our projection of the technical review schedule. Our review schedule could

. change depending on the findings of our technical review, urgent assignments, or other factors.

g We will promptly communicate any significant changes to this schedule.
