Audit to Verify Resolution of Inspection and Enforcement Bulletin 79-27 (TAC No. 68201)
Gentlemen In a letter (Log No. 2748) dated October 31, 1988, the NRC requested that Toledo Edison provide the following documents to support the Staff audit of the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station implementation of IE Bulletin 79-27 (Loss of Non-Class IE Instrumentation and Control Pover System Bus During Operation):
(1) Plant electrical single line diagrams that identify and show the total plant electrical distribution system including all Class IE and non-Class IE power supplies to instruments, controls, main control room indication, annunciation, and ICS/NNI.
(2) Load lists of all Class IE and non-Class IE instrumentation and control power supply buses.
(3) Toledo Edison Company's detailed evaluation of the design of the plant electrical distribution system, including the instrumentation and control pever supplies, to resolve the concerns of IE Bulletin 79 27.
In addition, telephone calls were held between the NRC Staf f and Toledo Edison representatives on October 26, 1988 and November 22, 1988 during which the following nformational copies vere requested:
(4) Normal and emergency procedures for taking the plant from power operation to cold shutdovn.
(5) Facility Change Request (FCR) and Request for Nodification (RFM) coversheets for modifications completed to comply with IE Bulletin 79-27 and other modifications since made to the electrical systems.
