Please find attached the subject Technical Specification with the corrections as identified in the conference call between Mr. J. J. Hayes of the NRC and Mr.
W. R. Higgins of my staff that took plat.e on September 14, 1988. There have also been some minor editorial changes which, along with the above, will be 3
denoted with marginal revision indicators. Also included in this submittal is a "No Significant Hazards" determination.
In the above referenced conference call, the NRC reviewer stated that loading of the Diesel Generator was part of the ten tests identified in the note ori Table 4.8-1.
This requirement was added by identifying surveillance requirement 4.8.1.1.2.A.4 in the note. The NRC reviewer also commented that loading the Diesel Generator in surveillance requirement 4.8.1.2 was not required.
Therefore, the "(with the exception of 4.8.1.1.2.a.4)" was added.
The reviewer also indicated that Diesel Generator failure reporting requirements were also applicable in 4.8.1.2.
