NRC Region I Inspection Report No. 50-443/88-06
This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by Mr. A. Cerne and
others of this office on March 29 - May 23,198G at the Seabrook Station, Unit
No. 1, Seabrook, New Hampshire, The inspection consisted of selective examina-
tion of procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel and
observations by the inspectors. The results of the inspection are described in
the NRC Region I Inspection Report enclosed with this letter and were discussed
with Mr. D. Moody and others of your staff on May 20, 1988.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
Please note that the attachment to the enclosed inspection report is a Request
for Additional Information (RAI) regarding the NRC's Division of Operational-
Events Assessment review of your response to item e of IE Bulletin 85-03. As
noted in Section 6 of the enclosed report, a copy of the RAI was provided to a
licensee onsite Regulatory Services Department representative during the
inspection period. Please provide the requested information in accordance with
your nor:nal distribution for docketed correspondence, within 30 days of the
date of this letter.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's "Rules and Practice," a copy of
this letter and the enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
