l I Discussions were held to exchange views regarding NUGSB0's preparation of draf t guidelines related to NUMARC initiatives 2A and 2B (Ref.1). The j participants discussed: a) a methodology for assuring the adequa:y of l
station blackout response procedures, b) "coping" guidelines related to AC-independent station blackout procedures, and c) guidelines related to l
alternate AC power systems. NUGSB0 will pursue guidelines for these procedural approaches, keeping in mind the staf f's comments relat'ng to differences between NUGSBO's guidelines and the staff's proposed resolution of USI A-44.

T. Speis The result of this meeting was an agreement to meet again on April 29, 1987, to further discuss NUGSB0's guidelines for initiatives 2A and 2B and the status of other industry initiatives on station blackout.
