This acknowledges the receipt of your letter (PGandE Letter Number HBL-87-051),
dated August 18, 1987, by which you transmitted Revision ? to the Humboldt Bay Power Plant (HBPP), Unit 3 Physical Security Plan, dated November, 1986. We have determined that portions of these plan changes are consistent with the provisions of 10 CFR 50.54(p) and are therefore acceptable. However, as indicated in the enclosure, one portion does not appear fully consistent with the provisions of 50.54(p). Accordingly, you are to follow your previously approved plan in regard to this item. Resubmit corrected plan pages as necessary to maintain plan continuity.
The change found not fully consistent with 10 CFR 73.57 was discussed telephonically between A. McQueen of this office and B. Dettman at PGandE on June 13, 1988.
Should you want to pursue revising the security plan with respect to the change set forth in the enclosure, you should resubmit under the provisions of 10 CFR 50.90.
