Operating License No. DPR-50 Docket No. 50-289 THI-1 Level 1 Probablistic Risk Assessment (PRA)
Dy letter dated June 8,1987, GPUN agreed to provide the THI-1 PRA for NRC staff review.
The PRA model and results are attached.
Overall the PPA shows that TMI-1 operation represents a very small risk of core damage.
The results, of course, represent an estimate at a point in time. GPUN will be uring the results in ongoing work and will also update the PRA in the future as appropriate.
Finally, it is our continued understanding that the NRC review of this PRA will be non-fee bearing.
