This revision, dated August 15, 1988 is Consumers Power Company's annual  ;

report being submitted in accordance with 10 CFa 50.54(A)(3). Also, enclosed as Attachment 1 and 2 are a list of affected pages and a change matrix

comparing revisions 7 and 8. The matrix presents the changes made, the reason for the change, and the basis for concluding it does not constitute a reduct-ion in our QA Program commitments. Some of the changes had previously been sulmitted and received NRC approval on March 1,1988. These changes are identified in the right hand column under "Basis for Conclusion."

The changes included with this revision primarily respcnd to organizational changes that have occurred in our Nuclear Safety Board, Nuclear Safety Depart-3 ment. Quality Assurance Department and Nuclear Fuel Supply Department.
