Gcntlemen:
This refers to the inspection conducted by Nemen M. Ter: of this office during
the period September 12-14, 1988, of activities authorized by NRC Operating
Liunse Permit NPF-47 for River Bend Station, and to the discussion of our
findings with Mr. P. D. Graham and other members of your staff at the
conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during the inspection included review of the operatienal status
of the emergency prepareoness progra.a.
Within these areas, the inspection
consisted ot' selective examination of procedures and representative records,
interviews with personnel, and observations by the NRC inspector.
The
inspection findings are documented in the enclosed inspection report.
Within the scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were
identified.
We have also examined actions you have taken with regard to previously
identified inspection findings, in particular the corrective actions taken
l
by you pertaining to the training violation identified in NRC Inspection
Report 50-458/87-30.
The status of this iterr. is identifiec in paragraph 2 of
the enclosed report.
