DISCUSSION AND EVALUATION

! On November 6,1986 the NRC issued a revised fection 50.4, "O ltten comunica-I tiens," of 10 CFR Part 50 (51 FR 50306 as amended at 52 FR 31611). The provisions of 10 CFR 50.4 (b)(1) are as follows:

' The provisions of 10 CFR 50.4 (b) (1) are applicable to the class of reporting requirements contained in TS 6.9.1, 6.9.2 and 6.9.1.6.

The proposed changes to TS 6.9.1, 6.9.2, and 6.9.1.6 (Millstone Unit 3, only) I would incorporate the 10 CFR 50.4 addresses in the T3. The proposed changes to i the TS provide consistency with 10 CFR 50.4(a) and have no other effect on the t TS or operation of the subject facilities.
