NRC Examinations at Palo Verde Nuclear Power Generating Station From March 11 to March 21, 1986, the NRC administered examinations to employees of your company who.had applied for licenses to. operate your. 'l -

Palo Verde Units 1 and 2 As a result of these examinations, six Senior Reactor Operator Candidates and eighteen Reactor Operator Candidates were found to meet the minimum qualification requirements for licensing. ,

At the conclusion of the examinations on March 14, 1986 and March _21, 1986, i the examination process and preliminary findings were discussed with members of your staff ^as detailed in the enclosed report.

In accordance~with 10 CFR 2.790(a), a-copy of this-letter and enclosure will be~ placed in the NRC's'Public Document Room. The examination-scores and results for individual applicants are exempt from.'isclosure d byJ' 10 CFR 2.790(a)(6) Land,': therefore,; enclosure .
