Th1s refers to the special safeguards inspection conducted by Mr. W. Martin of
this office on May 2-3, 1988 at the Millstone Power Station, Units 1, 2, and
3. Waterford, Connecticut of activities authorized by NRC License Nos. OPR-21,
OPR-65, and NPF-49 and to the discussions of our findings held by Mr. Martin
with Ms. P. Weekly at'the conclusion of the inspection.
~ The area examined during this inspection is described in the NRC Region I
Inspection Report which is~ enclosed with this letter. Within this area, the
inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and
t'
representative records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the
inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790(a), a copy of this letter and the enclosure
will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
