10 CFR 50.54(p) SUBMITTAL - PILGRIM NUCLEAR POWER STATION, UNIT 1 This is in response to your letter of March 4,1988, regarding changes to the Higrim Nuclear Power Station, Unit 1 Guard Training and Qualification Plan identified as Revision 8.
We have reviewed the information and have determined that portions of that plan change are consistent with the provisions of 10 CFR 50.54(p) and are therefore acceptable. However, as indicated in the enclosure, certain other portions decrease plan effectiveness and are therefore inconsistent with the provisions of 50.54(p). Accordingly, you are to follow your previously approved plan in regard to these items and resubmit corrected plan pages as necessary to maintain plan continuity.
Should you want to pursue changing the sect.rity plan with respect to the unacceptable changes set forth in the encksure, you should resubmit those changes under the pr' visions of 10 CFR !0.90.
The enclosures to your letter contain Proprietary Information of a type specified in 10 CFR 2.790(d) and are bet ig withheld from public disclosure.
