Letter dated April 26, 1988 from P. Shemanski to H.E. Bliss
Dear Sir:
Enclosed is Revision 29 to the LaSalle Nuclear Power Station Security Plan which has been made to provide the commitments requested in Reference (a).
This change has been reviewed and found not to reduce the safeguards effectiveness of the security plan as discussed in 10 CPR 50.54(p). This change is therefore being implemented without prior Commission approval.
Based on implementation of these commitments in the security plan, Commonwealth Edison requests that Unit 1, NPF-ll License Condition 2.C.(27) and Unit 2, NPF-18 License Condition 2.C.(16) be deleted. These license conditions are superceded by this amendment and are therefore no longer applicable. This request has been discussed with Mr. R. Skelton of your staff and found acceptable.
Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.4, the signed original and three copies of the security plan revisions are being provided to your office. A copy of this letter and two copies of the security plan revisions are being sent to Regicn III.
These enclosures contain Safeguards Information which must be protected from public disclosure pursuant to 10 CFR 73.21 If you have any questions regarding this matter please contact this office.
