Ine NRC staff is continuing its assessment of the progress being made in resolving offsite emergency preparedness issues for PNPS. In conjunction with our review, we request that ycu provide a written description which reflects your current understanding of FNPS offsite emergency plans, implementing procedures and training. In addition, provide a description reflecting ycur understanding of the status of the six issues identified by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) during its self-iritiated review which was documented in a FEMA report to the NRC staff dated August 6,1987, "Self-Initiated Review and Interim Finding for the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station, Plymouth, Ma".
