July 29, 1988 letter which described a Fitness for Duty allegation involving two named employees who allegedly experienced alcohol abuse on a frequent i
and significant basis while working at the Byron Nuclear Generating Station.
l Our review of your written response showed that the allegation was not l
substantiated bared upon interviews with the individuals named in the allegation, their supervisors, and their peers. Additionally, the individuals' work and attendance records were reviewed and no deficiencies or problems were i
l noted. We further noted that one of the individuals was also evaluated by your medical staff and Employee Assistance Program representative and

l determined to be fit for duty. We agrec with your conclusion and have no l
l further questions pertaining to this issue.
