MANAGEMENT TEAM VISIT TO REGION 1 On April 12-15 1988, a team of NRR and NMSS managers visited the Maine Yankee and Vermont Yankee sites, two materials licensees, and the Region 1 offices. Enclosure 1 lists the members of the team. Enclosure 2 is a sunsnary of cur observations and perceptions frcs the visit. The visit was extremely useful and we identified some changes which should be made in our programs. I have taken steps to have the appropriate NRR staff examine the issues ant. initiate any necessary corrective action.
I understand that Glen Sjoblem is discussing the NMSS items with NMSS managers.
