This letter forwards corrections to the South Carolina Electric & Gas Company VANTAGE 5 Technical Specifications submittals dated May 20, 1988 and August 31, 1980. These typographical corrections were discussed with your staff in a telephone conversation dated September 9, 1988.
Attachment I corrects Figure 3.2-1 which depicts K(z) as a function of core height. This Figure was provided in Attachment 2 to the May 20, 1988 submittal and although the graph of K(z) versus core height provided in the ori inal submittal is correct, the superimposed table incorrectly lists a K(z of 1.9 at a core height of 6.0 feet.
This value of K(z) should be 1.0.
Attachment II corrects Table 4, "Reactor Coolant Equilibrium Fission Product Activities," provided in the August 31, 1988 letter. This Table incorrectly lists the Iodine-131 activity of 3.9 micro-curies per gram. This value should be corrected to 2.8 micro-curies per gram.
