I Docket No.: 50-369 Unit: McGuire 1 Date: 2/14/8t, NAERATIVE SWOGARY Month: January, 1986 McGuire Unit 1 began the month at 100%. Tha unit tripped on January 5, when a-steam generator feedwater regulating valve failed closed. A card in the control circuitry had failed. The card was replaced and the unit returned to service on January 6.
The unit operated at 100% for the balance of the month.

NARRATIVE SIBGEARY Month: January, 1986 McGuire Unit 2 began the month-at 100%. The unit tripped on January 15,.when vacuum on the feedwater pumps was lost. The unit returned to service on January 16.
The unit operated at 92% from January 17 to January 21 because of a problem with a Governor valve. The unit was able to return to 100% on January 22. On January 23, the unit was forced to reduce power due to Reactor Coolant system leakage. During the power reduction the unit tripped. The unit returned to service on January 25, and operated at 100% for the balance of the month.
