This refers to the routine inspection conducted by Mr. T. Koshy of this office
on June 20-30, 1988 at Pilgrim Station Unit 1 and your Engineering office at
Braintree, Massachusetts of activities authorized by NRC License No, DPR-35 and
to the discussions of our findings held by Mr. T. Koshy with Mr. K. L. Highfill
at the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I
Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the
inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative
records, interviews with personne2, and observations by the inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
