ACCEPTANCE OF QUALIFIED UNIT 1 SUPERVISOR INITIAL AND CONTINUING TRAINING PROGRAM (TAC NO. MA2278) -
Dear Mr. Kingsicy:
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff has reviewed and accepted the Qualified Unit 1 Supervisor (QU1S) initial and continuing training program for the Dresden Nuclear Power Station.
By letter dated August 7,1998, Commonwealth Edison Company (Comed) submitted the QU1S initial and continuing training program to the NRC for approval. The QU1S initial and continuing training program will allow non-licensed personnel certified under the program to supervise fuel movements while maintaining the facility in a safe and stable condition.
A copy of the staff's Safety Evaluation is enclosed.

ACCEPTANCE OF QUALIFIED UNIT 1 SUPERVISOR INITIAL AND CONTINUING TRAINING PROGRAM (TAC NO. MA2278)
Dear Mr. Kingsley:
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff has reviewod and accepted the Qualified Unit 1 Supervisor (QU1S) initial and continuing training program for the Dresden Nuclear Power Station.
By letter dated August 7,1998, Commonwealth Edison Company (Comed) submitted the QU1S initial and continuing training program to the NRC for approval. The QU1S initial and continuing training program will allow non-licensed personnel certified under the program to supervise fuel movements while maintaining the facility in a safe and stable condition.
A copy of the staff's Safety Evaluation is enclosed.
