ENFORCEMENT CONFERENCE - BRUNSWICK 1 AND 2, DOCKET NOS. 50-325 AND 50-324 This confirms the telephone conversation between Mr. P. W. Howe of your staff and Mr..R. D. Walker of my staff on January 24, 1986, concerning an enforcement conference to be conducted in Atlanta, Georgia, on February 19, 1986, at 10:00 a.m.

We requested this meeting to discuss a potential material false statement (MFS) contained in two reports submitted to the NRC in 1980 and 1983.

The statement involved operability of chlorine detectors installed at the Brunswick facility to ensure continuous control room habitability. A proposeo meeting agenda is enclosed.

Should you have any questions regarding these arrangements, we will be pleased to discuss them.
